The only thing that drives me into a bigger snit than dead beat dads is pedophiles and child abusers. Which brings us to Levy Johnston, playgirl’s well paid flavor of the month.
A liberal friend pointed me to this Levi/Bristol court document in some demented twist to drive home the point of our abysmal state of health care and the hypocritical mindset of the Palin family. A thorough reading makes me think she made a mistake passing along this piece of information.
Seems Mr. Johnston is way behind on his financial obligations for his son.
He has earned an income in excess of $100,000 dollars in the past year.
He has paid only $ 4,400.00 towards his son’s support since his birth.
He has not provided for or contributed to his son’s medical insurance, requiring Bristol to seek state medical coverage for their child.
Levi Johnston looks like another run of the mill scumbag to me.

Oh, I utterly agree that he’s worthless as a father. And I understand that Bristol has to seek the state insurance as a step in the legal dance for custody.
I don’t think the little tyke will be suffering from inadequate medical care, though.
The gavotte that certain Dems have been doing with Levi for the purpose of causing embarrassment to the Palin family is, to me, much more embarrassing to those who participate.
Agreed Gordon.
The libs look like total assholes for playing this game.
Long ago, I worked a couple of years as an EMT, big city, bad side of town, and saw enough rape victims, battered women and abused children to last about ten lifetimes. I could provide a big assist to anyone I caught committing any of the above for them to Meet Jesus Real Soon with no compunction whatsoever.
Dads who won’t take proper care of their progeny fall into a lower category of transgression, but ’tis still dirtbaggery just the same.
You have to wonder what incompetent fool is giving Levi legal advice; unless Levi’s intent is to be found unfit and to be stripped of almost all his parental rights. I have nothing but contempt for the liberals who care more about scoring points than about the welfare of a child. They have cynically aided and abetted Levi in the destruction of his fatherhood.
I pity Levi if and when he grows up; it will be a brutal truth to understand that he sold his son for a few sheckels and the company of skanks and abusers. His place in the sordid footnotes of history will be no consolation as he watches his son’s children call some other and more worthy man “Grandfather.”
Mr. Webb, my firefighter son claims to be an atheist, but like you is ready to send some of the scum he deals with “straight to hell.” Someday he’ll make the connection that the hell he’s confident of presumes a heaven too. Stumbling little toddlers though we are on this earth, God has ways of catching us all.
The more I hear about that turd, the more I think he’s a real stinker.
Disgraceful. Young Palin chose poorly.
Of *course* there’s a God. How else to explain the existence of irony? Or love?
He has paid only $ 4,400.00 towards his son’s support since his birth.
I get in a SERIOUS snit when I read shit like this. I’m just a few dollars short of that amount in last year’s annual child support payments and I’m only drawing Social Security and a pittance of a USAF retirement, by comparison. I don’t EVEN wanna talk about what I paid when I was in the six-figure income bracket. But then again, we have our responsibilities and living up to them is simply a matter of honor and integrity.
Justice. Feh.
Daph has a liberal friend?
I have dozens, IRI.
They’re nice people, just a little delusional on certain subjects.
Anybody who get’s involved with the family of a professional politician is a fool. That he’s also an asshole comes as no surprise.
Good point, Bill.
The libs look like total assholes for playing this game.
Not to other liberals. To them, anything Levi does that heaps scorn on the devil Sarah Palin is fine and dandy.
The liberals were for the children before they were against them, I guess.
The most feared words in the English language from an 18 year old daughter are:
“I LOVE HIM!”
How painful this has to be for Bristol and what a shadow to hang over her son.
As for Libs, they may smirk, but many do not know that many of their daughters will come to regret something very different as well as the secret they will take to their grave.
Am I the only one wondering why US and AK taxpayers are footing the bills for medical care of Sarah Palin’s grandchild? Bristol Palin was a minor when she had the baby (still is maybe ). Conservatives should take care of their own, or “our pull yourself up by your bootstraps” rings pretty hollow.
That government cheese corrupts everyone, it seems. Between this and the McCain endorsement….pretty disappointing.
I expect this was a calculated decision, Teresa.
Bristol needed to bring ammo to the fight and this helps nails Levi’s coffin in the eyes of the court. As it should. Levi’s an irresponsible, stupid young man.
Sarah Palin is a Bush Republican, which means she’s just another fiscally profligate, nanny state liberal.
Now why do you say she’s a fiscally profligate nanny-state liberal, Daphne? Seriously, I’m curious why you would think that.
My sense is that she was a fairly fiscally conservative governor in AK, but I must admit I haven’t delved too deeply there. It’s probably pretty easy to be fiscally conservative in a mineral-rich state with a low population.
I’m just annoyed in general at otherwise conservative people who have no problem grabbing a hunk of the federal velveeta when they should be taking care of their own. It’s a good part of what’s gone wrong with my country.
I just don’t know how many more people I can carry on my back, and I’m beginning(!) to get angry about it.
These people give white trash a bad name.
I say that because she fully supported Bush’s TARP, supported the $398B bridge to nowhere, (kept the money after the scandal and built a road to nowhere), hired Washington lobbyists to secure more federal tax dollars for her state and supports our attempts at nation building in the middle east.
That she recently expressed support for going to war with Iran and is campaigning for entrenched nanny state republicans just puts the cherry on it, in my opinion.
But we could just use your example above concerning her grandchild as more proof that she doesn’t walk the conservative talk.
“A liberal friend pointed me to this Levi/Bristol court document in some demented twist to drive home the point of our abysmal state of health care and the hypocritical mindset of the Palin family.”
Was there a coherent point involved in all that, and would your liberal friend have been ready, willing and able to state what it was?
This is the saddest part of modern day liberalism, IMO. It’s the part that compels otherwise-decent and otherwise-thoughtful people to reject simple, straightforward, wise courses of action, and accept simple, crooked, fraudulent, stupid ones. They get distracted by the question of who else is decent. And choosing just the right double standard to make Bill-n-Hillary look like saints, and cast such a contemptuous darklight on Levi-Bristol that hopefully some of it bounces up and hits Sarah Palin, consumes all the brain cycles they have. Like, somehow Hillary’s a “victim,” Bill was “tempted,” Bristol is just a shitty judge of character and surely she got that from her Mom. Or something.
By the time they’re done writhing around and jumping through their own intellectual hoops, they’re so exhausted you could tell them we’ll fix the nation’s economy with a trillion dollar health care plan, and get rid of our racial-tension for good by drinking beer.
No, Morgan. She just hates the Palins and thinks our health care system should be in the hands of big government. She felt this document proved her delusional positions.
Morgan: “choosing just the right double standard”
Nice insight, that.
Daphne: “She felt this document proved her delusional positions.”
Was she able to articulate how this proves anything, or did she just send you the link?
I’m thinking that such a diatribe would be suitable for study by the mad hatter.
Well, my example is easier for my simple mind to grasp, anyway.
I’m slippin’. I used to live and breathe politics. My focus has shifted a bit over the past year or so, but I can still spot my enemy by his works. Works speak volumes.
This is a piece about Haiti that I have no words to describe, but it will nail you to your chair. Especially the part about how when confronted with unspeakable evil, doing good has a miraculous, life-altering power. Beautiful truth.

I guess we’re looking right here at why things won’t change.
People who agree with Barack Obama more than Sarah Palin, have their doubts about whether Obama is telling them the truth. In some cases, really thick, acrid, permeating doubts. And they say “But darn it, He’s just so charismatic and I Want To Be A Part Of This Thing!”
People who agree with Sarah Palin more than Barack Obama, just dream wistfully about who else they wish was running. And if they can’t come up with a “who” they come up with a “what.” Then they stay home.
So socialism it is.
